Originally constructed in the 1980’s, 21 Doors is born of a structure that stands as a rock-solid testimony to quality design and construction. The concrete and steel shell is being re-used, keeping tonnes of material out of the landfill, and tonnes of greenhouse gasses out of the atmosphere.
That shell has been thoughtfully re-imagined for today while honouring key elements of its original design.
Described by architect Craig Taylor as “a true oasis in the urban environment”, 21 Doors embraces a common courtyard, bringing the community of the building together, while adding to the community as a whole. All 21 doors open to the common landscaped courtyard, and are through units, with windows at the front and back so that your homes “breathes”, and cools naturally.
Behind the concrete shell is a new interior, with 21 homes styled for urban simplicity. With a nod to European style and sustainability, white cabinetry with rich dark marmoleum flooring, stainless-steel appliances and a neutral colour palette make each 21 Doors home a gallery for your personal expression.
